Double degree programme
at Yeoju Technical Institute in Tashkent
The delegation of Yeoju Technical Institute in Tashkent (YTIT) headed by the Rector J. Kudaybergenov was in the Republic of Korea. Their assignment was broadening the scope of activity in the sphere of educational exchange between higher educational institutions of the republic. This took place from November, 25th to December 4th. In particular, YTIT signed a number of agreements with such educational institutions like the university of Hanyang Erica, Chosun, Jeonju, and Chung Cheong. It should also be noted that Hanyang University is one of the top 10 best universities in South Korea.
Thus, on the basis of the signed agreements, YTIT students received the opportunity to participate in double degree programmes on 2+2 model and participate in exchange educational programmes on 2+1+1 not only at Yeoju Technological Institute, but in the abovementioned universities of the Republic of Korea.
Meanwhile, in accordance with all requirements and conditions of participation in these programmes, students will receive the opportunity to continue their education or participate in exchange programmes in the abovementioned universities of the Republic of Korea in the corresponding educational programmes. After participating in 2+2 model programmes, students will receive diplomas from both YTIT and the corresponding university within the Republic of Korea.
The basic requirements for participation in these programmes are having TOPIK 3 and IELTS (7.0) certificates, absence of fails on all subjects and GPA (Grade Point Average) of more than 3.0, set tuition fee in the corresponding university of the Republic of Korea. In regards to this, YTIT students are offered discounts, details of which will be discussed before the beginning of the study period at the Republic of Korea.
Moreover, within the framework of the signed agreements, teachers also have an opportunity to participate in the professional development programmes and exchanges, educational programmes for teachers in the abovementioned universities of the Republic of Korea.

Who can participate in the programme?
- Graduates (schools, lyceums, and colleges) of 2018 and 2019
- 40 weeks, 1200 hours (from Monday to Friday – 6 hours a day)
Student Selection criteria
- Test- TOPIK 3, or covering 4th level on the language courses
Period and amount of selected students
- 2 times a year, 150 students in each year
